Why yoga in nature?
Whatever you call it, ecotherapy, green therapy, nature therapy, or earth-centered therapy, the power of nature is gaining recognition from doctors and scientists around the world. Nature has regenerative powers, improving mood and easing anxiety, stress, and depression. Health care providers are now giving their patients “nature prescriptions” to help treat a variety of medical conditions, from post-cancer fatigue to obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Through Wild Yoga Retreats we reconnect with Mother Nature. As we step away from our day-to-day lives in towns and cities, we are able to completely immerse ourselves in the peaceful frequency of the wilderness as we walk, camp, and live in nature. Combining the healing powers of nature with the healing powers of a yogic lifestyle we are able to grow, learn, share, and empower one another.
